This headline caught my eye, and I wanted to share this article here, since self-loathing is an issue that comes up frequently. What do y'all think about it?

My IC recommended that I love and comfort my traumatized 8-year-old self, which is a hard concept to wrap my brain around, but this article provides some tools for doing just that.
The part about loving our future aspect, I really liked too. One could draw the same parallel between a healthy lifestyle and loving one's future aspect, too: I choose to run today, and pass up the french fries, as a way of expressing love to my 70-year-old aspect, so she can be healthy and active. And I choose to be devoted to my H and M, so she can have a loving partner by her side.
