In the A Close Call thread, I discussed how The Princess almost heard a song I'd written about her. There were many requests to hear the song, so here it is. The global preview of Blind Stupid Love (The Barnacle Song):

"We were married for two happy years...married for 16."

I missed some of the words in between- dog won't stop barking at the washer.

I quite enjoyed it- made me laugh. How was it received?

Hey Holly,

It has been universally loved by all who have heard it. There may have been one person I forgot to play it for (as well as our kids, of course!). You should never mistreat a songwriter!

And we have actually been married for 17 years and 10 months, but sometimes statistics have to take a backseat to rhythm.

Divorced the cheater and living my best life now.

This is true

I have written so many songs, verses, chorus and lines this experience really taps into the creative and writing is very cathartic. Someday, I might feel strong enough to share but for now they are my own

Awesome!

In 2010 I divorced the NPD assclown who cheated on me with my best friend.
