I now HATE fireworks. They go on sale here June 24 and people out here in the country set them off EVERY DAMN night. Who cares about droughts and burn bans.

My two dogs and two puppies are hysterical. And due to fWS current state (cast non weight bearing) we can't even hide in the basement this year.

Damn kids get off my lawn/acreage!

Maybe you can add a lot of white noise to keep the pups somewhat settled?? I use a LOT of fans- bathroom fans, ceiling fans, kitchen fan, floor fans... my dog has his own fan. He's deaf and mostly blind, though, so we don't have much trouble with storms or fireworks with him.

Been going on here for a week my dog gets ensconced in the bedroom with the AC on. She goes nuts and it's really freakin annoying. I will never understand the love of setting off firecrackers and noisemakers...

I love fireworks, but not fire cracker/ noise makers so much.

The 4th is a favorite holiday for me.

Dd hates fireworks!!!

DS on the other hand absolutely loves them. When we set a few off after he had his sparklers he kept asking for more. I got it on video. It's so cute.

I originally bought two packs and we only used one so I am assuming wh will take DS outside this weekend while I stay inside with dd.

We want Togo to the fireworks celebration in town, I just don't know how well dd will handle it. She was upset because daddy was setting them off and she thought he was going to die. Perhaps them being set off across the lake away from daddy will be better?

As much as I like them I do feel for you purple! Our Neighbours set off a bunch close to the house...way to close.

Also when wh an I used to go to the fireworks before having the kids I always saw people bringing ther dogs. I always thought that was crazy.

people out here in the country set them off EVERY DAMN night.

Raising my hand, pj. I'm out in the country as well, and since fireworks are illegal here, people come out to my neck of the woods to set them off, and then drive off with tires squealing to stay ahead of the sheriff. Rotten kids!

My two dogs and two puppies are hysterical.

Have you tried thundershirts? Not sure if they would help, but might be worth a shot. ((((poor puppies))))

Damn kids get off my lawn/acreage!
