Wednesday I bought a new car! I'm so excited. Got rid of my minivan (that I had with XH) after almost six years, and bought a new 2013 Dodge Charger SXT! Very sharp and sporty. Turns heads big time. It's a dark metalic blue color.
The picture doesn't do it justice, but it gives you an idea.

Great car! I clearly remember when I was able to give up the mini van and go to a sedan-liberating!
Enjoy! But watch out for that tendency to have a lead foot!

Dude, I love that car. Love the color too!
Tried to convince myself that it made sense to get rid of my minivan for that when it made no sense whatsoever.
Color me totally jealous. I hate being rational.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it's definitely an upgrade. I know I'll miss the extra room in the back with the minivan....but who cares. I'm always rational. Screw rational. lol I love this car. Besides, not having a van isn't the end of the world. Great gas mileage, fun to drive, great crash test ratings, etc.
My kids love it! Wednesday night they asked if we were taking the car to drop them off at daycare.
Um, yea as it's our only vehicle. haha
I'm a lead foot to begin with so this shall be interesting. My coworkers are betting on how long it'll be till I get speeding ticket. I'm up to the speed limit before I know it.
Yes, I know what MOPAR stands far although I did have to ask when people would say that while I was still looking at them.

jrc1963, it's a 3.6L V6 (8 speed automatic) and 292 horsepower.
At 78 mph (on the Interstate) it's at 1600 RPM'. Barely above idle.
I'm looking forward to not getting 18 mpg like I did with my van.

LMAO I went on vacation with my mom once and she put me in charge of the rental car she would be driving. She drives a lancer....I reserved a charger. She saw it and yelled at me about how could I expect her to drive something this big, she would panic blah blah blah. She gets behind the wheel still complaining and puts her foot on the gas....her words "oh my, it's so powerful!" She fell in love with the car as did my aunt. I was in giggling hysterics.
Congrats on your new car it's gorgeous.
