The trees are begging the dogs to piss on them.
You could boil lobster in a swimming pool.
Fry an egg on an ice cube.
My balls are sticking to the side of YOUR leg....

Slowly feel like you're going insane....or at least finally realize it.....

So, how hot is it where YOU are? It's a *balmy* 113 here....

It's only 94 here right now. I don't know if we hit triple digits today or not. Yesterday it got up to 107, a new record high for June in Houston.

75 here. We've had a couple of cool days in a row. Yesterday I even had to put on a sweatshirt.

Sending all you "balmy" folks cool thoughts.

Inconnu, I do not envy you. That humidity is a sumbitch!

Nik, Losfer....put out an extra place mat....I'm a 'comin as soon as I can get my feet unstuck from the pavement....

Only in the 90s here, but it was a sticky 91% humidity this morning when I went to brunch.

inconnu posted 6/30/2013 20:07 PM

The beach was delightful today. There was a cover of high clouds with enough sun coming through to make it worth my while The Gulf is nice and warm.

I was sitting on my Dad's back porch today while my dogs chased squirrels, in the shade, and I just about burned my arm on the metal armrest on his patio chair. It's hot. To make matters worse, a storm rolled in this afternoon so now it's going to be humid until August as well.

You haz balls??? I iz confuse.

113 is no joke. We had that last year with a heat index of 120. There's a BIG difference between 108 and 113, even.

We live in the Southeast, where it can get really hot and muggy. I was raised here, H around Philly. I think he finally realized that southerners talk and move slower in the summer because of the heat. I mean, it's hard to breathe! But, I'm guessing you know that, already.

Sending thoughts of a cold front your way!

ETA: And get your balls off of my leg!
