If you get child support, does your s/d agreement specify when you get it? Is there something that is standard?

Our state guideline standard is the first of every month and it is specified in the agreement.

Mine also specifies that the payment is "late" after the 5th of the month, and that if he's late more than 2 times I can take the matter to my state's child support enforcement agency.
Interestingly HIS lawyer put that in. MY lawyer told me I can take it to the agency at any time, so that clause doesn't really require me to wait until he's late 3 times. Still, I liked the wording of it.

Mine's supposed to be the first of the month. Of course today is the second and no check.

Any way to appeal to support enforcement? Mine is a weekly payment garnished via his employer.

Mine (child support and alimony) is every two weeks.
It's garnished by the state through his employer and direct deposited in my bank account.
I can't tell you how much easier it is than sweating it out every month.
Life goes on.
