Do the physical therapy. Get on top of the pain and baby your back.

You will bounce back from this! Keep your spirits up.

I got this while preganant with DD. Herniated Disc and a pinched nerve.

Water therapy SAVED me, literally. It was so bad that they were worried they would have to do surgery while i was preganant and that if the water therapy didnt work they really didnt know what other choice i would have.

See if you can do both land and water PT. It was the best thing I ever did.

They have me on stretch exercises for now. Said it wasn't too far gone although the MD thinks its a herniated disc and the PT thinks its nerve irritation. Either way they're treating it and tell me it won't take too long to feel better. The pain is intense. The doctor gave me like 10 numbing injections and while it relieved a lot of the pain I still felt it. He asked me how I had been walking around when the pain had to be excruciating. I went through some horrible pain before and while this hurt it didn't turn excruciating until a couple days ago. Those meds are starting to wear off....makes me wish I'd gotten the percocets.

If you don't see relief in 4 weeks, INSIST on an MRI. The guessing game drives me nuts!

Healthy mojo!

Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.
