Well I did it, finally. After spending a couple of months desperately clinging to denial its time, time to jump on the crazy train.

I figured 4 July was a great day to finalized instructions for the lawyers. He will be receiving initial request for financial disclosure very soon.

Sadly recent interactions with him make me think he really is PA NPD so this should be fun.

Me: Awesome - 35.... ummm, not anymore

We all reach that point where there really is no other choice - limbo is not really a choice.

Sending you strength friend. It was pretty harrowing but these Ls know what they're doing. Take their advice - don't discuss any detail with the muppet. Take note of anything he says to you in person or in writing. You never know if you might need it.

I also recommend taking a cent by cent account of what you are spending each day. You never know when you might need that too.

Ask your L for advice about joint funds - I saw a post here about a WS clearing out all accounts.

And lastly - do something for yourself. Take a bath, get a massage - something.

These first steps are the hardest and most agonizing - you'll be running and skipping in no time. Just got to get through this shit part first.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
