So my lawyer emails each of us the complaint for divorce for me to sign and mail back.

But up above where it says Plaintiff, the first letter of my last name is wrong.

Waiting for a new set to be emailed.

Gosh', I really wanted to get those in the mail today!!!

This has happened for me, too.

It was rather ironic, because STBXH is actually offended with misspelled names of himself or those he "cares for".

So when the divorce papers came - from his very own lawyer-they had DD's name wrong!!!!!!

I pointed this out to my lawyer because he did it too on some other things. He made excuses of "I was thinking of other people with names like it instead of reading the paper), and he tried to make light of it and say it wasn't a big deal.

Well, apparently it was because in one of the big meetings, STBXH's L made sure to mention before we got to the line item, that "it" was misspelled.

When I am stronger, the NPD'ism with STBXH and his L gives me a good snicker. My L thanked me and he actually had a "head's up" so he feel on his toes, which was what I wanted, in the long run.

I got a compliment and said, it must be the old secretarialism coming out.

And, what struck me on the way home, is that STBX didn't notice! For all his "have to be right" attitude, usually that kind of thing makes him batty.

I didn't use to have fun pointing out other people's errors, but this time I did.
