DirectTV to launch channel exclusively for dogs
Next month, DOGTV will launch nationwide on DirectTV, offering content aimed specifically at man’s best friend. For $4.99 a month, dog owners can get programming to entertain their pets when they are left alone in the house. The visual content will be modified to better fit dogs’ eyesight. Because dogs can only see blue and yellow, DOGTV will accentuate certain colors that may make the difference between fascinating television and the kind of boredom that makes chewing up every pillow in the house seem like fun.
