What are you all getting into?

I have super exciting plans. Taking my car in, doing laundry, grocery shopping. SO has a Risk night planned with some old friends from high school, I'll probably make a brief social appearance then flee before I get too bored. Sleeping in, bliss.

I don't have J this weekend, and SO is working (boo!) but I'm planning on doing a movie tomorrow with my BFF and hopefully the beach on Sunday. Maybe I'll wind up at the beach on both days - who knows! It's my weekend to be free! LOL

Day 15 of my 19 days off, so... uh, is it Friday?

Beach, bike, beach, market, beach, cocktails. Rinse and repeat.

ETA I'm also having red meat

Thanks for asking.

My girls are coming home after 6 WEEKS with their dad.

I cleaned like mad, SO helped me with a surprise remodel project, I made them a welcome home poster since they make me fun posters for special days, bought them balloons for their dining chairs. I've missed them so much.

Enjoy the homecoming Will Get By!

I'm going to the local beer/music in the park tonight with a friend I rarely see. The usual "suspects" weren't available so I was brave and texted this friend. One of those people I rarely see, but always have a nice time with.

Tomorrow painting my office at work. WOO HOO! It should be a good time, and it will look so nice when I'm done! Tomorrow night, no plans yet...may go and listen to a band with a friend. That would be nice.

Other than that, since this house doesn't clean itself...

This is gonna be my first weekend post-breakup

But, I am going to do some boating on Saturday with friends and my DD12 and then tubing in the river on Sunday.

Nothing like hot sun and water fun to wear my ass out and get me to sleep well!

I am sitting in a Holiday Inn Express in Simpsonville, SC, blissfully working on my online class (one more step toward my masters +30).

I am here happily working away while my two daughters and three of their friends attend the Black Keys concert tonight. (They are all college age except my younger daughter, who is a rising junior.)

This is a birthday present for *both* of my daughters (and their friends too lol)! We had dinner earlier tonight and all the girls were so excited and chattering away.

I had no desire to see the undoubtably awesome Black Keys ... I must be getting old

Anyway, I am getting lots done on my class (which feels so good) and they are having a blast

This ^^^ good for you! I know the feeling of being in a comfy hotel room and getting something accomplished.

Well actually, I'm usually doing sweet fanny all but enjoying the room, but whatever....

Sleeping in, I hope. Not getting out of bed until after 8, even if I'm not sleeping. It's the principle! It's been a lonnngggg week at work. Then I have to mow the lawn before the neighbors start giving me the stink eye. Chores, chores, bike ride, long walk. Going to see the Beach Boys on Sunday night. Should be fun!

No big plans here except homework and housework...woo hoo.

I plan to go to a kettlebell workout in the morning and may go see The Heat in the afternoon with friends.
