--you have to see this website.
www.Boatnerd.com
This site is all about the ships that sail the Great Lakes and connecting waters. There are 1,000's of photos of ships---including the whole U.S. and Canadian fleets. You will also find foreign ships and cruise ships, lighthouses, maritime museums and all kinds of other interesting boat related stuff.
I stumbled on this site today while searching for something else. I wish I would have found it a long time ago.
Enjoy

Very cool website. 30yrs ago we would visit my uncle who was in the Navy. Seeing all different ships at the docks, going to the aquarium nearby, etc... Thank you for unintentionally starting my day with a wonderful childhood memory.
