Last week before I went on vacation, I hit a milestone weight loss. I had lost 37.5 pounds and was back to the weight I was when I got married and pre-kids. I somehow only gained 2.2 pounds on vacation despite eating like crap. I think one breakfast I had was more calories than I am allotted in a day. I did exercise while I was there. Of the 4 nights I was away I ran 3 miles one night and walked 2 miles 2 other nights (plus the walking on the boardwalk).

Today I weighed in and I've officially lost 40 pounds. Yesterday I bought jeans in a size that I haven't worn since jr. high or high school. My only conclusion is that eating like crap is good for you! I think we should all celebrate with cake.

If they can deep fry Oreos, Snickers, and Twinkies, I think deep fried cake is totally a possibility. With powdered sugar on top!
