I believe first meeting should be something casual like an afternoon coffee or tea, or a simple walk to get to know each other, followed by a trip to France, about a week traveling in the far East and finally a luxury holiday resort on a secluded tropical island near the Great Barrier Reef.

Ok maybe we'll save that for the second date.

FaithFool posted 7/21/2013 00:51 AM

4. After lunch

• Suggested a walk by the water (+2)
• Suggested a walk to his apartment (-1)
• Suggested a walk on “the wild side” (-3)
• Suggested a ride on his Harley into the California desert to do some “trippin’ and deep thinkin'” (-10)

5. Conversation

• Talked about himself and asked about you (+2)
• Talked mostly about himself (-1)
• Talked only about himself - and continued when you left the table to go the bathroom (-10)
• Talked about himself even after you’d been driving home for 30 minutes (-20)

FaithFool posted 7/21/2013 00:52 AM

6. Music

• He likes good rock and roll and R+B, but is open to all styles of music (+2)
• He likes heavy metal “but the melodic kind” (-2)
• He likes all music “but mostly the Grateful Dead” (-3)
• He really only likes the Grateful Dead (-4)
• He’s never heard any music besides the Grateful Dead. (-10)
• He likes experimental music created by synthesizers being smashed in storage containers while playing music inspired by the Grateful Dead (-20)

What’s your score? (If it was me on the date please add ten points.... and remember – I just bought that Harley and…who doesn’t love the Grateful Dead??)

Take2 posted 7/21/2013 00:57 AM

What a hoot!!

And all the while he is racking up points in the "makes me laugh" category! I imagine he is fielding winks left and right!

So Faithfool...you going for it? Or just passing time on Saturday night?

FaithFool posted 7/21/2013 01:00 AM

Welllll..... I did thank him for the laugh.

He's 6 ft 2 and exactly same age as me.

A bright sparky one for sure.

caregiver9000 posted 7/21/2013 01:06 AM

ooooh, tall and funny?

Take2 posted 7/21/2013 01:13 AM

Good for you! On this, you must keep us posted! That was as entertaining as SPF.

I do admire witty exchanges... And added bonus is that there was information in there, assuming he doesn't want to fail his own quiz: he expects to pay for a meal, he will not drone on and on about himself, he might suggest a walk around the lake...

Clever boy!

FaithFool posted 7/21/2013 01:28 AM

Nah, he'll be swamped with the bling crowd.

Doubt if he will ping back, but if he does I'll let y'all know.

MyVoice posted 7/21/2013 02:37 AM

Love it!

SBB posted 7/21/2013 02:47 AM

Why no mention of the post-date flaccid selfie?

Big points for that, no?

Yeah...that is funny! I love when I stumble across profiles like that!

exhausted lady posted 7/21/2013 10:22 AM

omg.....that profile is a winner! Almost makes me sorry I gave up OLD (not!)

But seriously, if he DOES respond, he sounds like he'd be a blast to be around even if the fireworks didn't go off, ya know? Great sense of humor, and we all love to have people like that in our lives.

EvenKeel posted 7/22/2013 14:34 PM

Welllll..... I did thank him for the laugh.

Oh come on......I will send you candy if you "up" your reply to him with the equivalent girl version!!!!!

Ideas: Make-up (caked on...), hair (choked ya with her Aqua-net during appetizers), heels (they double as a self-defense weapon due to 8-inch spikey heels).

We can help ya....you will blow him away!!!!!!

Edited:
PS - I just canceled my membership this morning. This makes me sorry I did....I would definitely do something like this in my profile.

He must of heard about the lady on here with the cheese/nuts date.

FaithFool posted 7/22/2013 16:25 PM

I was thinking of Cheesy Nut man. LOL.

@ EvenKeel, nah, not going to try and out-clever that one. I sent him a nice message with my email address so he will contact me if he's interested.

I don't have the energy for chasing.
