I found a car that's good value for money and meets my needs. Yay. I felt like I was going crazy for a while. Took me about a week of looking at cars in every spare moment I had.

(And I purchased it with cash.)

2008 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Automatic, cruise control. 140k miles. "Clean" condition (some minor cosmetic stuff). Did a mechanic inspection and I can catch up on regular maintenance for a few hundred. $4800 cash. Negotiated down from $5200. Edmunds.com thinks its private party value is $6344. MPG (when brand new) is 25 city, 33 highway, 28 EPA combined.

I'll post pictures later.

My ex had an Elantra. If properly maintained, they seem to run forever! Great choice.

All of this useless info in what sounds like English but is clearly some alien dialect yet not one mention of the most important piece of info....

What colour is it?

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!

It's kind of slightly dark red.

I do have the seller photos!

Imgur album of those -- http://imgur.com/a/uRovx

I'd embed them, but I don't know how to do that yet.
