I've been growing out my hair, since last year, because I needed it to be long enough for a ponytail this summer. I need to continue growing it out for a friend's wedding, next May. Previous to this it has been short...somewhere between a longer pixie look to a chin length bob. It's finally just shoulder length (bangs are still about chin length) and I'm needing some ideas on new cuts that will look professional (new job is in a professional office) but easy to take care of. I am going to do a tricolor of red, brown, and blonde. TIA!

This is what my hair looks like now:

Here's the idea for my color:

Mama!!!!

You haz hair!!!

I'm so used to it being short!

Now I have to change my mental picture of you

I love your color idea and I think that will be all you need to do maybe a slight clean up, a little bit taken off here and there.

I think you can just do some soft, loose curls and not even have to cut it right now.

ima, I haz LOTS of very thick hair My friend better realize how much I love her...I don't grow out my hair for just anyone (speaking of, she's wanting 1940's/1950's pin-up style hairdo's for the wedding...pretty sweet)

TIKY, Do you think I would need a body perm or just do it with hot rollers? I have decent hot rollers, so I could do it with them

I would do it with hot rollers to spare your hair the damage from a perm. If you want more body, you can use a mousse or something in it and then dry it upside-down.

Thank you, jo. I just want to make the transition from camp nurse to professional

Thanks, TIKY. I'll try them tomorrow for church and see what I can do I have three weeks to figure it out, but don't want to wait until the last minute
