fWH and I have our own chemical dependency therapists because he is an alcoholic. Then, we have joint sessions alternating with our own individual therapists and the two of us. They've been great.

But, I notice we started off discussing his addiction, then MY foo issues and his. But, I want to know when we're going to discuss his A's. I mean, we have to an extent, but I still don't feel I have the truth. IC's both say he's not doing any of that ANYMORE. And, he's not. I just can't help but feel he's still trying to pull the wool over my eyes.

Several times, I've brought this up, they ask fWH in front of me at our sessions and he says that's everything. Well, I still don't believe him. It always comes back to haunt me. I feel like we're rugsweeping. What do you all think?

My short answer would be that if the A's are something that are still haunting you, causing you suspicion, and invading your thoughts, they are still worth discussing. I've read through your profile, and you have been through a LOT.

Another possibility, if you feel like you are dragging with your current IC, is possibly seeking another counselor? Maybe one who has more of a focus on marital and infidelity issues.

Hang in there.
