Needles on the other hand terrify me. And considering that I was in the Navy and had to get shots all the time....

I also have no tattoos. Not that I am against them...I actually thought about it once. But, I realized that there just isn't enough alcohol in the world to have me voluntarily let a needle get that close....

Needles have never bothered me. I think it's because I had so many immunization shots when I was a kid (flying to and from Korea).

I don't think I could give myself a shot though.

Needles *shudder*...I've passed out several times when getting blood drawn and come close just getting a shot.

I have a blood disease now where my bone marrow is making way too many red blood cells and I have to get blood drawn every three months.
I take a deep breath and look at the wall and count or sing to myself until it's done. But still, it's so hard to get through a session of that, but I haven't fainted over the last year, so that's good.

Oh I had an anxiety attack one day when a nurse had to stab me 3 times to draw blood...stupid nurse I told her I had a needle phobia but she was "training." Mind you much as needles terrify me I donated blood pretty regularly. I have low iron though so even though I drank my juice and ate my cookies I took 5 steps and was on the floor the last time I donated.

Needles don't bother me. In fact, I'm pretty sure I surprised a nurse when I had my pre-emplyment drug screen. This was years ago when they drew blood for it. I watched as they did it.

When I was pregnant with DD3, I was getting blood work almost every appointment (why, I dunno). Anyway it got to the point where I'd ask them them which arm they wanted.

I guess needles stopped bothering me when I was four and had to get a shot of Novocaine... in the scalp.
