My nieces and daughters talked me into getting the books, cause I truly was not interested, I like fact/fiction stories etc...but I read it to get them off my case....I have read all of the books at least 2x and some even more! I can almost quote the movies!! And I'm way to old for this!! LoL!! At first I did it to relate to my girls, but then I got as involved as they were!! We would all go to the midnight premier showing and counted down the days until the next movie, I cried when the wedding took place and also when the last movie came out! My girls cracked up! But I think one reason I feel this way (and you would think this would be a trigger!!) is because the books/movies became an escape for me from all the craziness dh and I were going thru, does that sound nuts?? IC says I would be shocked at how many housewives feel this way! My kids and close friends really don't know how obsessed I am with this....haha!!!

I resisted for a long time (and I taught jr high, so it was hard). Once I started reading the , I was hooked. I read all 4 books, back to back in less than a month. My poor H gets drug along to all the movies and even has to sit at home and watch them with me again (and again). I think he secretly likes them too.
