What to do when you are the only one who thinks they can climb the mountain.

I need strength but why can't I catch a break?

The more you convince others you are ok the worse it gets. Then you have supportive people who try but you run the danger of them turning into those that don't think you can cross the mountain.

I hope I am strong enough to make it through this battle..

You are strong enough. Do it!

The road to self contentment is best traveled alone. Once you get to your happy place others will be there to greet you. Don't allow anyone, no matter how good their intentions hold you back.

What stronger said ^^^.

It's tough, but you can make it. I've been having a heck of a bad run the last while too, and beginning to wonder if anyone around me still believes I can get where I'm going. My main co-worker actually gets me through...no matter what is happening with me, he gives me advice, then laughs his head off at me. He just keeps saying if that only happens to one in 10,000, of course it's gonna be you DM! and he laughs. And I call him an ass. Then I laugh. And I get on with it again.

Just keep going. We will get there, we are just taking the scenic route.

You are stronger than you know! You can do this, you know you can. You will get to the other side.

True, true, true!

fireproof, you speak of "mountains" and "battles."

Perhaps if you shared the real problem at hand, then you'd find you're not alone, you're not the first, and someone who's been through a similar situation could provide some helpful perspective.

Thank you all

I was slower today but I know I will conquer that mountain. I think self doubt will be my biggest challenge.

I will focus on what I can do and let the rest go.

Thank you for your advice and encouragement.
