It was nice. I enjoyed myself. Chatted a bit with my coworkers. (Coworker got married.) But I felt weird...like I shouldn't be there. Dunno what that was all about...ex-shat and I didn't have a wedding (just went to the courthouse), so no triggers. Maybe just the whole marriage, till death do us part thing. Maybe it was that everyone was paired up and I was the obvious single.

I'm still glad I went but at the same time, feeling down about the whole thing.

I haven't been to a wedding, but I see lots of weddings and it always makes me feel sad for their future. Maybe you just feel like the whole thing is kind of a farce/pointless/doomed?

Not that I'm bitter or anything

Tesla, I feel that same type of feeling when I go to weddings. I feel happy for the couple and have a nice time, but just feel "blah" after. Its understandable. (((hugs)))

I've been to 4 weddings this past year.

The first was tough - by the fourth I was partying like a boss and dancing like it was 1999.

It gets easier.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
