Mathematical Certainties...

There is only one absolute certainty in this universe.

And that is the universe itself.

And that being of such immense proportion, vast complexity, and indomitable momentum it carries with it the certainty that it will move forward.

The universe discriminates not. Pain and loss... they are every much a part of us as happiness and love. The good softens the bad no more than the bad lessens the good. Both must be met... and when they are... they must be experienced.

And when that happens... we can be assured that the universe will move on. By the very definition of itís infinity... it will move on.

Yet... on the quantum level, we are made of the very same matter as universe. And it is with absolute, unequivocal mathematical certainty that to take the smallest fraction of infinity... that to take the product of infinity... yields in itself, the infinite.

And therein lies the promise to the child of the infinite.

For although the universe must be met... we possess itís infinite power.
For although the universe must be met... we possess the capacity to discern how.
And for although it will move on... this presents to us the opportunity for hope and renewal.

While our experiences become a part of us, it is our choices alone that will define use.

The universe may be the constant... but we are the dynamic... we are the capable.

So make the choice not to be dragged, but to forge the path boldly ahead.

Though we must place our certainty in the universe... we may place our conviction in ourselves.

And the impossible flees before the light of the unlimited.

So, tell the universe to hold on...
ĎCause itís in for one hell of a ride.

Wow just discovered your posts! Your original story was moving and so true... I could not agree more. Just wish there were not kids involved. But then again, I have wondered if they would be better served if their mother did the RIGHT thing which would be the harder road. I have yet to determine the full scope of my H indiscretions but when I do, and I will, you bet I will refer back to your profile page for strength. I just hope I do not find anything (current EA only, here searching for ways to discover the truth but have found so much more on the way) thank you for continuing to support all us

I was told there would be no math

For although the universe must be met... we possess the capacity to discern how.

love it.
