We never go really extravagant on the kid's b-days...we just don't see a need to spend a bunch of money for a party when it can be just as fun, and better on the budget, to do a small party. I'm wanting to do a "Glow-in-the-Dark" themed party...I'm thinking glowing drinks, glow sticks, maybe some black lights, and video games (for the two boys who will staying the night). I'm stuck on food though...anyone have any ideas of food that "glows" or a way I can make it glow? I'm wanting to stick to something easy, like finger foods (I made pizza puffs the other night and I'm pretty sure I'm doing those...maybe some finger sandwiches, etc), cake and ice cream. I want it to be a nice party for him, but not one where I have to sell one of the other kids to pay for it Any ideas for decorations, food, or drinks??? TIA

You could use glow in the dark paint to paint cups, or paint some of the decorations so that it glows when you turn out the light.

I think there is glow tape as well.

I can't think of anything edible that also glows, but you could put LED christmas lights under a white table cloth to get the table to 'glow'.

You could also glue those glow necklaces to the underside of a clear plastic plate to make the plate glow while they eat, each kid could have a different color or something.

Hopefully this works. I found a site that has glow in the dark food recipes

Only thing that comes to mind for me was using clear plastic platters and punch bowl and then transparent punch, molded transparent jello, etc. with glow sticks under the platters. That's not so exciting.
