Me and Rebuilder2 are off to yoga class. It's funny bc we really don't....bend that way but that's okay. We will do our best and for one hour stay in the moment (kind of impossible to think of other stuff anyway when doing reverse warrior or those blasted sun salutations!).
Have a good day, SI!

Off to yoga myself in a moment.
Headstand is the only time my world doesn't seem so upside down.
Eta. I was literally walking out the door before. Broevil and I go together a few times a month when our schedules allow. It is so good for the bodyand mind. WE each go separately a couple times a week and talk about it together. It is great to have a shared hobby

That is so awesome. I take a yoga class occasionally and I've joked with LD about coming with me. Years ago he took a step class with me (when step was the thing) and it was hysterical, I couldn't get through the class I was laughing so hard. He is so uncoordinated. The thought of him in a yoga class....
Anyway, I think that's just great! Enjoy your time at the class and your zen moments with him
.
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

We love doing yoga together -- it has been very, very healing for us. We try to schedule it right after MC sometimes so we can clear our heads.
(We learned the hard way that having "date night" right after MC was a big mistake, ha ha.)

yes...date night post mc can be tough bionicgal!. Your want to just drink your dinner!
AN, when we were doing tree and she said to focus on something stable, I thought to myself, "well don't look at H!" (he was a very wobbly tree!)
Anyway...it went well. The instructor was a newbie so H was getting a bit frustrated. She was walking about instead of doing the movements and when you are fairly new, like H is, getting lost is that much easier. But we did it and we both felt good afterwards.
Tonight, an older man (87) friend of mine has offered to make us and a few other friends, dinner. We are all bringing something and meeting at a local spot. He is my adopted grand-dad!
I feel very happy about this day.
