Today is my 18th wedding anniversary (seems we're all having anniversaries lately). Since The Princess is such a manipulator, I was anticipating her sending some "witty" text or email. When she picked up the boys yesterday, I met her out in the hall and brought this up.

I said, "I don't think you were going to do this," (white lie), "but please don't even acknowledge tomorrow with me. I just can't handle it."

To her credit, she hasn't done anything yet. To her discredit, her response was, "I hardly acknowledged it when it meant something. I certainly won't now."

Stroppy twat. I fucking hate her.

She just had to take the opportunity to tell me that she really wasn't so into me.

I should have known better than to say a god damn word. I really should have.

Criminy, her talons are always sharpened, aren't they?

Shake it off as best as you can. ((((pass))))

Bitch!

imagoodwitch posted 8/19/2013 10:59 AM

That was pretty crappy, heartless actually.

It's my anniversary today too.

Pentup posted 8/19/2013 11:04 AM

Wow. That was cold. Wish you had told her, "sorry, for a minute I had you confused with someone who was NOT a bitch."
Think you should keep this encounter in mind I pm case you ever miss her.

Me, too.

I don't know what to say. I don't want to get a warning from admin so I'm not going to write what I think of her. I'm sorry you were brutally hurt ... again. Now you know better and you won't share with her any of your emotions. She certainly doesn't deserve it.

Wow, many of us are having anniversaries! My 20th was this past Friday. I didn't hear a peep from stbx because I must hold the worlds record for NC

suckstobeme posted 8/19/2013 13:04 PM

She's a disgusting excuse for a woman.

I'm sorry you were hurt by her again. But, since no one has done it yet, I'm gonna swing a gentle two by four.

Pass, telling her you were upset by the date gave her a perfect window into your mind. She says these awful things because she's awful. I wholeheartedly agree with that. But, this is an occasion where you gave her the opportunity to aim her venom straight at you and she said something that she knew would hurt.

I recently read that no one can hurt you or manipulate you if you don't show them or tell them your thoughts. Unless you want her to hurt you over and over again, do not ever let her inside again.

I know anniversaries are hard and you have every right to be upset. You also have every right to show your pain and talk about it with the safe people in your life. With the people who will help and support you, not use the information to tear you down.

She's the number one enemy, my friend. Stop letting her into your camp.

TrustGone posted 8/19/2013 13:19 PM

I am sooo sorry she said that. It just goes to show how much better you are without that bitch in your life.

In a few years your anniversary will come and go and you will even forget that it was once your anniversary. I just now remembered I had one a few weeks ago. It never even dawned on me that day. Hoping that you get there soon. (((HUGS)))

Pass posted 8/19/2013 13:32 PM

suckstobeme, you're right. I keep thinking that treating her like a reasonable person will somehow help me - and she keeps proving me wrong.

Thanks, y'all.

Brandon808 posted 8/19/2013 13:38 PM

Sorry for that pass.

Now I'm going to switch gears and point out that her brutal words were not only her true colors. They were an everlasting reminder that she is not worthy of you. Think about what kind of human being that says they hardly acknowledged an anniversary even when it meant something. Think about how much that shows their lack of emotional depth and maturity. She gave you a bitter truth. However, that taste of truth means you never have to worry about overestimating her empathy or humanity again.

Thanks, Brandon.

It's my anniversary today too.

imagoodwitch: After I finish my set at my open stage tonight, I will toast you with the inevitable wine I will order.

shiloe posted 8/19/2013 16:20 PM

Pass,
Gee, I am sorry she hurt you yet again.

"I hardly acknowledged it when it meant something. I certainly won't now."

Is that true, she hardly acknowledged it before the affair?

Try not to engage in anyway with her.

Oh, and it did not mean "something", obviously

^^THIS. You gave her the opening to do so. I hope you will have had enough of it soon.

((pass))

Pass,
I echo what everyone else has to say. Still sorry though, it stings and she is bad... Just bad. Enjoy your wine!

PurpleRose posted 8/19/2013 21:53 PM

pass, when you know better, you do better. Get back on the NC train and keep on chugging. You cannot expect empathetic behavior from a disgusting excuse for a human.

SBB posted 8/19/2013 23:01 PM

I am so going to celebrate when your give-a-fuck breaks.
