Is it just me or does the guy in the white shirt have really big feet? Maybe the water is making it look bigger?

wonderingbull posted 8/19/2013 14:59 PM

Water makes "things" look about 30% bigger under water...

No wonder I love to scuba dive..

It's more the teeny brains that concerns me. Obviously the sharks agree. They seem beyond non plussed.

Cage diving is like a reversed zoo (no risk, seriously) but they had more interest in us than these seem to. Perhaps we looked tastier.

..@DragonHeart..

..I have a ball cap I've been wearing lately.. that says, "Big Hands..Big Feet.
You do the Math!"

Lol. Perspective is everything right?

In art I know this. Obviously the foot is closer to the camera than they guys head. It just appeared a bit out of proportion to me.

Hmmmmm. Well....dont have anything that I CAN post in response to that

Sting ray bay at the Toronto zoo will be as close as I ever get to a shark. Not because I am afraid of them. No, I have a fear of scuba diving. I can't think of being underwater and having the scuba gear failing...

click4it posted 8/19/2013 16:14 PM

I can't breathe just looking at that photo.

Rebreather posted 8/19/2013 16:22 PM

I always thought the best addition to my dive gear would be a small rearview mirror on my mask. I really need to know what's happening back there! Of course, dh would always be off my right flank, so I figured...better him than me.

TrulyReconciled posted 8/19/2013 16:31 PM

I know the feeling. The first time I went diving (Cozumel) I kept looking behind me because someone told me that 'cuda would sneak upon you from behind (actually kinda true!).

somanyyears posted 8/19/2013 16:39 PM

..i'd never try this stunt..

..hate it when the coffee's been watered down!!!

Oh great! Now I know which threads to avoid!!!

Never mind spiders. Talk about scuba diving and Dragn has a panic attack

StillGoing posted 8/19/2013 17:05 PM

Why are there water droplets on the lens..? Does that happen? Is that real? Fuck that. I would punch a bear in the face again before I did that. No sharks.

DragnHeart posted 8/19/2013 17:15 PM

Again?????? Why did you punch a bear and was it effective?

StillGoing posted 8/19/2013 18:04 PM

It's not as impressive with details but yeah.

No oxygen tanks? They can sure hold their breath a long time!
