About a year and half ago my sister dated someone off of OLD, that she called the "whatnot guy". She got to the point that she was counting how many times he said it in a conversation.

So last night, I met up a person from match that said "whatnot" twice. We talked for over 2 hours, and it was only twice, but....I'm starting to think it's that guy.

When I find out where he works, I will know for sure. I didn't want to ask him where he worked last night, because I didn't want to open up the question of who my employer is.

I kind of like the guy. He seems to like me.

I don't want to ask my sister yet. I don't remember how she broke it off with him either. She has dated a lot off of OLD, so I don't know why it never occured to me that we might talk to the same people. Not until the first time he said whatnot, did it hit me.

Small world, no?

Yes, NIK, it is.

My sister reminds me of Seinfeld, where they found the smallest reasons to break up with someone.

I use it sometimes, here's hoping it isn't the same one lol

Although, even if it is, might not matter if you both get one and whatnot, sorry whatever :p

I wish I knew how far they got in their dating. I'm not going to ask her if they had sex, but it might affect my interest in him.

I think the reason it bothered her was the amount of times he said the word, not the word itself.
