It was really rough tonight, with tons of clouds. And I did the 'Dammit Dance' quite a bit as lightning struck just out of the frame. I'll try again tomorrow when the moon is even fuller.

Yeah, it won't unless you're able to set the exposure.

This is a pic taken on the same camera on a pre-set (night) setting:

Whatever camera you are using has to be really desensitized to light to take a good pic of the full moon.

The other pic was taken with manual settings.

Oh, I hear ya'!! I have been a wreck for days!! I guess that's one of the reasons I like to take pics, since I know I'll settle down when they're gone!

DS, I once worked in a geriatric psychiatric hospital and my patients had been committed for longer than I had been alive. I always dreaded the full moon!!

Some people don't believe it has an effect, but I'm a believer!!!

If so that would explain my many arguments with my teen, lol...

ITIY- good idea, cuz these are awesome pics. good to know i'm not the only one who suffers from "moon madness"

Hey, Three is the magic number.

(According to De La Soul, that is!)

ETA: There's a rule of threes in design, according to Pier1 and a rule of thirds in photography. I'm tellin' ya', it's a magic number!
