Did anyone else get the honor of wanting to be hugged by the WS as DDay hit? I just read this on a post in the Just Found Out forum and my WH tried to do the same thing when I first discovered his A with MOW.
What on fucking earth would posses a person to want to do such a thing after being discovered for their vile act?
I mean a hug? Really?!?! I wanted to knock him the fuck out when he did that.

WS's have strange ways of trying to feel better about their poor choices sometimes.
My STBXWW wanted a hug after telling me of the betrayel she felt when OM left her for OOW. I pushed her off, got up, and said "What did you think was going to happen?" Then walked out the door and had a beer with a friend.

That may have been me, you read about can't remember. But yea, FWH tried to give me a hug when I broke down crying, and the clearest, Do Not Fuck With Me growl came from the depths of my soul, voice came out of me along with a straight-arm that any NFL player would have been proud of, and I backed him into the counter. It was a moment of ice-cold clarity in an otherwise emotion-ridden f-fest.
Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
