How'd that happen?

I haven't had a date or just a "meet for a drink to size up the other person in person" in over a year.

I wasn't expecting to be asked out so fast. There was just a question or two back and forth. Usually I like to talk a lot longer than that before agreeing to meet, but why not talk in person?

Eeeks.

I have a lot of guys who ask me out in the second email. They just don't like/want to bother with the email chatty stuff.

Usually I tell them I like to chat just a bit before meeting, or ask for their first/last name to google them before agreeing to meet.

Some poof after I ask for their name

Here I go wondering...

The last thing I said was "yes, 7pm should work for me."

And then nothing.

And yes, I looked at his profile a few more times to get his details again so I wouldn't be going "blind" to this meet up.

But now I wonder if he thinks damn why does she keep looking at my profile and now changed his mind.

Damn full moons, its making me nutty tonight...

WELL, here I am about to head out the door, makeup on and rushed to get dressed and SOMETHING told me to check online to see if there is any last minute messages from him.

And wa-la there is one. He sent me a message online at 3pm saying he is unable to make it tonight due to work and can I meet tomorrow. Good enough reason, however, he had my number (as he gave me his) and could have TEXTED me this information so that I didn't get ready and almost head out the door. What if I hadn't checked online?

So, I politely replied that its a good thing I checked online first before leaving and that I am unavailable tomorrow.

If I didn't rush to feed my son before leaving, I'd just say hey kids lets go eat since I'm ready to go!

Worst feeling when you are all dressed up and nowhere to go. Oh well, time to dress into my PJ's and settle in for the night.

decided to go get a big hot fudge sundae.

don't think anyone is reading my update..maybe that's a good thing.

Well, he could've handled it MUCH better than he did, for sure. We women take HOURS agonizing on everything regarding clothes, hairstyle, makeup, shoes, etc. Jeez, how rude of him to flake last minute!
