I didn't really connect on the date until I wrote it down mid-morning. Oh hey, today would have been our 7th wedding anniversary! He walked out 2 years ago tomorrow and my new beginning started then. I am amazed at how well I'm doing at this point. I still have my dark days, sure. But they are few and far between now.
I have a good man and we have a good thing going on, which seems to grow daily. I have fantastic friends and wonderful family. I am starting to get back on track financially. Oh, and I have the most amazing almost 3 year old on the planet.
Never in a million did I think I'd be *this* ok. I never thought this day would come. But here it is, and it just keeps getting better! I owe a lot to my amazing support group IRL, but also to you amazing folks here. I am so thankful for this community that I never thought I would have to join. Here's to another year gone!
