It's going to be in the upper 80s/lower 90s here this week and what am I doing?

You're not alone.

I've already started my fall "nesting" patterns. I'm working on a knitted wrap, have canned a variety of fruits in the last couple of weeks, and am starting to cut down old denim jeans for a quilt I want to make.

My sister cans. I don't know how and I don't have the time anyway. Fortunately I have a bit of time to get it done since it's a Hannuka (sp?) gift for a member's son.

ETA jrc we posted at the same time. And yes, it's a good cause.

Making one when it is already cold seems a bit late in the game... no?

So, you are right on schedule

Snapdragon, making 0ne when it's cold means I can cover up with it as I work.

I had to stop working on the one on our bed for a while because it was high summer and it was at the point where there was no avoiding covering up with it.
