Our place up north has a drop ceiling in the living room. At one time they were white, but now they're more cigarette smoke colored.

I'd like to paint them as opposed to replacing them. Any tips?

Thanks

We have those at the studio and we used a spray painter and it came out great. Not spray paint can - the thing the pros use in a wayyyyy cheaper version. Lol messy but so worth it. We got ours at Home Depot for like $150 I think?

Do the tiles come out easily? If so I'd take them out, numbering the back as you go, and clean the smoke off with white vinegar and water. If they still need paint use a roller and return when dry.

One of my spring cleaning jobs every year was to help my mother take down the dropped ceiling tiles in our living room and clean them. They came down brown from cig smoke and went back up white again.
