It has been a year and I find myself wanting to shut down. I have so much regular "life" crap that I can't do or can't find the stuff to do it and all I want to do is get in bed and pull the covers over my head. How do you get through the day to day, and handle the emotions that continuously rush through you, not knowing what will hit you next?

It can get overwhelming at times. Sometimes when things are so overwhelming you just have to break the "day by day" down into smaller pieces, like "minute by minute". Take some time to breathe, and then you've realized you've just gotten through that minute, and you can make it until the next. Take it on in bigger chunks as you feel more comfortable... "hour by hour" for example.

Try to find things that you enjoy, and focus on that. If there was ever a time to focus on yourself and do something just for you, now is that time.

Hang in there, and keep posting. We're here for you.
