Have taken over my kitchen!

What do you do to get rid of these ugly, pesky, little vermin?

Clean everything with bleach and then spray a boric acid solution.

If you're opposed to that, try cinnamon. They hate it and will leave.

Big fan of the cinnamon solution with ants. Never fails.

People make a big deal out of boric acid, but it's actually less toxic than table salt. It's even in a lot of pools. You can just make a solution and spray it, let it dry, and then get on with it. It dries them up, so they won't stick around long.

There wasn't any sugar in the cinnamon... they rolled around in it like it was a spa treatment.

The Terro liquid ant baits work like a charm for me. I recently read that ants won't cross a chalk line. My response to that was, where do I draw the line? Inside my drain? Outside my window? I can just picture a whole army of ants on one side of the line, just scratching their heads trying to figure out how to cross.

I second the liquid baits - they are like an oasis! Just remember don't kill the ants coming for the bait. They need to take it back to the nest.

They make a Terro liquid in a small bottle. Just a drop here and there and then they are gone. Works every time for me.

^^^ This ^^^ You can put a drop outside right on top of the anthill hole so they don't have to work so hard.

I had heard paprika, they had a party in it.

Terro liquid ant baits are the only thing that has worked after years of battling ants. Miracle stuff.
