I wanted to share a technique my therapist suggested for coping with anxiety/panic attacks. It works for me because I do a lot of driving for work.
I assign cars or trucks in oncoming traffic a word or emotion. Fear. Anniversary. Anxiety. Regret. Loss. Pain. Then I watch the vehicle pass me by and I project those feelings or emotions leaving my brain and hitching a ride. I don't look in the rear view mirror. It works tremendously well for me. Hope it helps somebody else.

Thank you. I'm going to try that.
It's a good place to put those emotions and work to not let them back in, perhaps a way to stop the pattern anxiety makes.
