Finally got my check. I'm a teacher, we have been contractless for 4 years, this is a 7 year deal, going back the 4 years, forward three, won't affect me, I retire in 25 days.
But retro checks have been in the works since May, a huge undertaking, the issues are so complex. I get mine, a whopping $325 gross. Hooray! Okay, so the settlement wasn't great, but I'm not on a picket line my last year teaching. However, after all the deductions, it was reduced a tad. My net?
$78.41
I'll try not to spend it all at once...

Congrats on your contract and retro pay...
Our district settled a contract finally that included a raise with retro pay. My retro pay was slightly better than yours.
Now I bring home about $20 more a paycheck than I did for the last 5 years.
BTW - what the heck got deducted from that $325?

Because I have extra withholding taken from my regular pay, it was taken from this check also. They said they cannot suspend it for just one pay period. I guess I can hope I see it in tax return form?
I don't think my paycheck will be significantly higher. Those of us at the top of the scale got nothing. Oh well. Contract talks were horribly divisive and nasty. Some levels got reasonable raises. And I'm out of there in 25 days...
