I've decided to start working on a new me. Someone that I can be proud of. I lost myself for a while and I'm taking her back soooo I've decided to cut my hair short (I've pretty much always had it long & WH husband likes it that way). It's going to be sooo much easier to deal with especially chasing my 2 yr old son around the house
My dilemma is that I have a heart shaped face and I'm struggling to find cute haircuts on people that have a similar face shape. Any suggestions?

Just Google heart shape face haircuts/hairstyles, and you will find all sorts of sites. Also Google Images.
Find one that that you like and make sure you describe it to your stylist. Showing a picture is even better!
Two years ago, I asked to have an inch taken off my short hairstyle --- suffice to say, both my H and I were shocked at the result -- way too short!
Now it's long and staying that way at least until our son gets married next year. At my age, I will finally have an elegant chignon!

Go for it. I kept my hair long for a very long time, becasue HE liked it like that. I cut that crap off over 5 years ago, and haven't looked back. I have almost a pixie style cut, little longer in front, and fringes in the back so I don't have to shave my neck (yah I'm hairy). Anyway, it takes me about 5 minutes to fix it in the morning, and I'm good all day.
Go talk to a stylist about what they think looks good on your face, and have them show you pictures. It's well worth it.
I have a round face, and thought I would look fat with short hair, but the way it's cut it actually is slimming to my facial features.

Reese Witherspoon is a heart shaped face with great style. I'm pretty sure she has worn some shorter dos.

Ginnifer Goodwin's is always super cute. Good luck, a new cut has been known to change my whole outlook. Here's hoping it has a similar impact for you

Before you have it chopped off see if there is a beauty shop around that does locks of love...That way you can donate you hair to a cancer patient...It has to be a certain length to do that and it doesn't matter if it is thick or thin...Just not permed or colored...They mix it with other hair for children and adult wigs....
That is what I did a little over a year ago..I don't regret it at all...Some of the places that take the hair, give you a hair cut for free too....

I did a "long" pixie cut and love it. I have a round face, and it shouldn't "work", but it does.
After seeing my hair, one of my girlfriends then cut hers off into the same cut...looks adorable on her too!
