Me: BGF - 35
I am not a professional photographer, and have no aspirations to be one. I took some photography classes when I was younger, and was told I have a knack for it, and it was something I enjoyed doing... but I ended up giving up that hobby (long story).
My company has a "reward points" system, and you can shop in a catalog for items when you accumulate points. I finally have enough points to get something meaningful and I decided to get a Nikon D3200 D-SLR camera and get back into my photography hobby.
I've owned SLRs in the past, but this is my first digital one. The camera is costing me nothing, but I am thinking about purchasing a lens if I can find an affordable one.
My primary uses would be shooting youth/high school sports, concerts (mainly outdoors) and nature/animals.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good quality but affordable lens?
And suddenly I see, what I lost ain't no loss.
