Got a CC meet in the morning. Then Teslet and I are doing something special...he said he wants to go hiking...so I guess that's what we are doing in the afternoon. Coursework and paper grading in the evening.

Sunday is a 12 mile run. And the rest of the day is football, cleaning, paperwork, and Teslet relaxation time.

I'm looking for some sort of housing and then watching my step brother's second (technically third but they pulled his redshirt after the first one) college football game tomorrow.

I'm trying to talk my brother into going fishing on Sunday. It was something I never did before my divorce but it's so relaxing.

Loooong international work trip. Leave for Bucharest on Sunday. Spend 4 days there. Then 10 more days in Basingstoke and London.

Will be glad to come home by the 30th.

I finished my quarter today, finally, and celebrated with a friend and some well-earned margaritas. Had a terrific compliment from a professor today who wants me to prep a paper I wrote for his class for publication so I am reeling from that and will probably work on it tomorrow. Though honestly my plan was to spend the whole day in bed, just because I can. I need this break so much -- its been a very difficult quarter, with my bf breaking up with me , trying to work on my homework with the kids being home all summer, and getting my new pre-intership and my dissertation started.

I get my kids back at 5:30 and then I don't know what we will do. Probably just chill here for the evening and then do something fun on Sunday.

Today, haircut, grocery and then home to clean and cut the grass. GDM will be over later and we will have dinner and watch Ohio State football. Just a nice, quiet, peaceful time. I love it.

Not much going on this weekend.

Today is some much needed yard work. Then a walk in this lovely fall type weather.

Tomorrow is a school fund raiser. I've already bought the entrance ticket. However, in order to help payoff a recent vacation, I won't be able to buy other things for sale there.

Somewhere in between will be checking papers, lesson plans, cleaning, and laundry.

Well, last night's plans fell through because my mom was sick, but that was okay. I was super tired after finishing my first week of school, so I gave myself a manicure, ordered some take out, and watched Now You See Me (which was a really fun movie-- I recommend it).

Today, I'm going to a food festival with a good friend and will try to get some chores done. Later, I'm getting together with a couple of gals from SI, which should be super fun!

Tomorrow, grocery shopping, schoolwork, kids come back from their dad's house (yay), and the weekly routine begins again.

Household chores today, a long bike ride in a bit. Lots of reading to get caught up in my class. Some cooking for the week ahead. Definitely some college and NFL football. Maybe lunch out tomorrow. Kind of quiet and lame. Sometimes that's okay.

Was feeling run down last night after a hectic couple of weeks ( school starting always does that - lots of interaction with students wears out this introvert... ) so went to bed early, got up late and it's a foggy morning so have yet to get up off the couch to make toast.

Will have to ride to farm markets later to stock up.

New one opening downtown at a permanent site so that is a big event and great news for our little town.

Tomorrow lots of reading for school, cooking and probably more Breaking Bad...

Lazy is my middle name at the moment.

Had a great Friday night.. My daughter played with the high school marching band at the half time show. Her 8th grade band had a blast with the big kids and I loved every minute of the Friday Night Lights!!

Went out for drinks with a sweet man and a friend of his that is in town for marathon training. We are all BSs, so it was a fabulous night of story swapping and laughing at our idiot exes!

Today I am relaxing at home with my kids- they are both suffering from allergies and not feeling well. I've been cleaning house, doing laundry, making chicken soup and grading papers. In a few my son and I will catch up on Bear Grylls shows we have on DVR.

Tomorrow, one last run to the old house. I have a box of goodwill donations in the garage to pick up. New peeps move in next week!!! Yeay!

Ran a 50K this morning -- stayed with my slower friend the entire time, so it took many more hours than usual. Relaxing tonight with some beer.

Doing a longish run tomorrow morning, and then my marathon taper begins.

Need to get grocery shopping and some cleaning in there as well.

Had swim practice this morning then went to watch DSS run his first obstacle race. We took the dogs to the dog park for a bit and then home for dinner.

Tomorrow I have the Terry Fox Run with the swim team, but I'm doing 12 miles instead of 10k so I can get my long run in. Then home to relax and over to BIL's house for dinner.

Busy weekend, but it will be fun!

This weekend is a regatta to benefit Special Olymics Georgia. I raced yesterday and it was a blast. Best day to be on the water all year. Sunny and a brisk breeze most of the day.

We had the party at the marina last night and I brought all the kids. Everyone had a blast. DS20 was talking to the band, DSS18 bid on and won an African mask at the silent auction and DD10 had a melt down when I didn't win the Chick FilA cow in the raffle. I know what to get her for Christmas.

I'm bailing on the race today because I don't want to leave the kids home alone two days in a row. We'll have to think of somethign to do this afternoon after church. It's a nice cool day today so maybe something outside.

We had a nice weekend ! On Friday I picked up DD early from school (she usually finishes by 4 p.m except for Friday when they finish at 1 p.m., then spent a lovely "just the girls" afternoon with her, playing and we took a long walk around the lake in front of our house, then SO came for the weekend and DS arrived with his friend from a birthday party and we had nice dinner together. Saturday was shopping for winter boots for both kids with SO and my son`s friend in tow who spent the weekend with us.

Today long sleep-in for the whole family, brunch at 1p.m and again a long walk through the forest.

Now SO is on the way to his home town which is a 3 hour drive from my place and DD is in bed while DS and I are watching a movie.

Very peaceful and just nice family time.
