DD8 is ridiculously smart. Her uncle had her all day for crabbing when she was 6 years old and after listening to her talk and talk and talk, he finally had enough and asked her why the sky was blue. So she told him! I had her tested at 4 and a half and she was reading at a middle school level then. But grace? I'm surprised she hasn't broken more bones from being so spacey. I've always said will be the engineer that figures out how to build a bridge across the Atlantic and then walk off it because she saw something shiny. When she was really little she would constantly walk into things. We got tired of warning her and let her walk into things thinking she would learn her lesson. Still hasn't. She can be completely still, and fall over. But on skates? Amazing! She is a monster defenseman (if she isn't staring at the lights on the ceiling). Maybe one day she will play for the Princeton women's hockey team. So good luck to my biggest baby girl at her first travel hockey game! Take out some kids! (Ok, don't really do that...just play hard)

Good luck to DD's team! Maybe we'll see her playing in the Olympics in a few years.
