I come here, read, relate, wish I could help but can't put into words the correct way to make people feel better. Then I looked at my User Name. It has been over 2 yrs since D day. It came, and went....without even knowing. HA!
I really hope this helps someone, but there comes a time when you actually are happier than you have ever been! But NOBODY can make you happy but yourself! Not even the hot woman that can't get enough of you.
I give all credit, though, to God, Jesus, my family, and my friends.
I'm not here to say "look at me". I'm here to tell you to keep your head up! you have been through one of the most horrific events of your life that most can't even comprehend. Focus on the positives in your life. If you can't, do something for someone else and quit thinking about yourself. Heck, even think about your X. Aren't you glad your not carry'n that feeling of hurting someone so deep that they dug deeper than rock bottom? that's gotta suck.
Smile, you look much happier and feel much better when ya do. Can I get an AMEN!

That's awesome
New beginnings can't hold old anger.

Great post 9.10.11! You have a date similar to mine - so logical it's easy to remember - mine is technically 1.11.11 (he walked out without a word on 1/10, but disclosed on 1/11).

It's been gradual, but I really noticed a huge difference in ME at the two year point.

Glad your feeling better.

I'm almost at 2 years, I still want her dead though! Don't think that will ever change for me no matter how many years it is.
