I need to get a bridal shower gift for a 20 year old ...

I have not been to a bridal shower in years and I haven't a clue what to get except for sexy nightgown or something like that, but for a 20yo?? I can't see myself doing that.

Idea please! thanks in advance.

Gift card to Victoria Secret, tucked into a VS bag/case of some sort with a scent or two.

Does she have a bridal registry?? Check The Knot (website); many brides to be list their registry there.

Otherwise, I'd buy her a household item of some kind--or a gift card.

I would check the Bridal Registry

If they are moving in together something for their new home

If they drink wine or beer wine glasses or pilsner glasses

A spa certificate for the bride

they already live together and have a 1 yo child...

I totally like the Victoria Secret with a sent lotion inside...gosh haven't been to that store in YEARS. Do they have a plus size section? that's a factor.

I'm pretty sure they don't have plus sizes, click.

Bummer. That was a good idea! Maybe do something similar from a Dept. store that DOES have plus sizes??

If VS doesn't have plus sizes, you can still do the case/bag and scent from VS, then get a gift card somewhere else.

I already feel so bad for her that her family tells her she needs to lose weight and I really don't want to get something from a plus sized store. She's 20 and you know how 20 year olds are...very sensitive to everything. So, I'm thinking the lotions and maybe a gift card to Target or a general store might be good....

I love these ideas, thanks everyone!

Right. DON'T do that!! Just a store that carries plus sizes, in addition to other sizes.

I believe Frederick's carries larger sizes.

A gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond. New couples always need something for the house. I am afraid if you give her a gift card to target she buy diapers instead of something for herself and groom. Nothing wrong with that except diapers won't make them feel special, kwim?
