About 3 months after the D was final, my mom and I went to Israel. On our trip to the Wailing Wall, my prayer was a request for peace within myself.
Last weekend, I was on a girl trip. We went to Washington, D.C., and as we were walking around the monuments I realized that I am so happy with my life. I have achieved internal peace with my life.
It was gradual and kind of snuck up on me in so many ways. I'm so thankful for this second chance that I've been given. That dreaded word: time.
