Wow. No cards, no gifts, no calls.
Dd is elementary age, so this is big to her.
I just don't get why you would choose not to have a relationship with your grandkids? Especially when they are really cool kids :-)
their loss.... I'm not hurt, I know what a holes my ILS are, but I feel bad for dd. Mil told her she was going to come visit on her bday. Well, that fell thru, but not even a call?

(((Gotta & DD)))
Happy Birthday to your sweet DD. I hope she had a wonderful day minus the hurt from your ILS. I'm so sorry they forgot.

thanks guys =) I know mil remembered, she posted on her facebook page happy bday to my granddaughter.
Considering DD is way too young to have a fb account, and I am not friends with mil on facebook... I just looked at her page (a lot of which is public), to see if maybe something had happened to her, or something had happened in her life... I was actually giving her the benefit of the doubt and thinking, no, she wouldn't flake on DDs birthday, I wonder if something is up, I will look on FB to see if she's got the flu or whatever..
Nope.
I guess she just wanted her facebook friends to think she was a good grandma and wishing her granddaughter a happy bday
Yep. Sounds like MIL!!!

Interesting, skipping the grandchild and going directly to Facebook. It sounds like it is all about her.
Sad!
