Cat has been sick. STBX has been around the house to care for her. I got a text this week. To paraphrase: "I don't want to put you out but I miss having a place to call home. Can you take a weekend and go see your parents so I can be around the house for a while?" She's living in an apartment with her AP and his roommates. Party central, basically living like a college student ( she will be 40 next year ). It's beginning to wear on her. Instead of sending back "you should have thought of that before you fucked another guy" I took the opportunity to put the hard sell on her to refinance the house and take it over. I broke down the numbers, advised her that she would need a co signer and likely a roommate. (Big house, 2200 sf, could be there with roommate for days and not see them). I told her she could have everything in the house, garage and shed minus a few personal and family items. All I want is 4,000, cash and her to assume half the credit card debt. She went for it. She talked to her parents about co signing ( they know it's over, just not why ) and they seemed agreeable. She gets her house, I get cash to start over and out of debt completely. The thought of ending this part of this nightmare makes me dizzy with happiness. Cash, debt free, moving to the beach 800 miles away from this idiot. Please wish me luck, karma, prayers, good vibes, whatever your thing is. I can see light...........
