I gave up on perfumes alone. I use some good body creams/lotions, either alone or layer them after using a shower gel in that fragrance. They moisturize my skin as well and the fragrance is usually more subtle and can be spread wherever you want.

I like several; Victoria's Secret's Amber Romance, Several Grace ones from Philosophy (LOVE Summer Grace! And they have some that are more moisturizing in both shower gel and cream for winter skin), Organza's Indecence, Tresor, Avon's Skin So Soft (Pink - Sensuous?) and a cheapie I found at Perfumania, Jerome Privee Moments. Also probably others that I get as samples or gifts. I tend to go for the mild, flowery, or musk-type ones.

I also learned at Perfumania that they have a body cream/lotion that you can mix your own perfume or other liquid fragrance into and it takes on whatever fragrance you use. I could use up my random small amounts of perfume that I have amassed and hate to throw away because some were rather expensive. That would also make them last longer and it is supposed to be a good moisturizer.

My go-to scent is Philosophy Amazing Grace. I don't like the cologne, but the body lotion scent lasts all day and smells wonderful. I also like Living Grace and Unconditional Love, both from Philosophy and Vanilla Dee-lite and Creme Anglaise, both from Lush.

As far as a regular cologne, I love Burberry Brit and Lust, 25:43 and Vanilliary, all from Lush.

Light Blue - Dolce & Gabbana

Clinique Elixir - my absolute favorite in the world.

Also, JLo's - JLo is really nice, I have that as a back up if I run out of my other two

Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath & Body Works. Anything else makes me sick.

Chanel No. 5. It's all I've ever worn since I was 15. Old-school, old-fashioned...but I love it.

25:43 from LUSH too :) Also Orange Blossom on occasion.

I don't like "heavy" perfumes, these are light and don't last too long, so it doesn't overpower me.

For lotion, I like almond scents and wear Crabtree and Evelyn's Almond Oil. I wait for it to go on sale and stock up.

This time of year I get out my DKNY "Be Delicious". It has an apple smell, which is ..uh... cooler than it sounds.

It's not sexy for going out but I love it for everyday use.

I get a ridiculous amount of comments/compliments on my "Dream" from the Gap, bought at the outlets for less than $20 a bottle.

It comes in perfume and a body spray as well as lotions.

Gianfranco Ferre when I can find the original. It's hard to find sometimes and I need to smell it first because I've found it in a few places and the color was off and it stank. It was either sitting too long or mixed with something. But that was always from those places that pop up in the mall around the holidays and disappear a month later.

I got it first when I was in Italy when I was 13. So whenever I know someone going to Europe I give them money to look for me.

I also love "Love" by Ralph Lauren but it reminds me of a time I'd rather not be reminded of.

And Clinique "Happy" is wonderful.

Chanel No.5. has always been my moms perfume since I was a little girl and nothing makes me think of her more than that smell
