It's after 5pm here. My kids are with their dad and my house is empty.

I've worked through some tough memories today and read lots of pain so many of you are dealing with.

So I just took a few minutes, by myself, in my bedroom, to dance.

Listen to the song "Lose yourself to

dance" by Daft Punk. Then turn it up real loud and lose yourself.

Talking about all of this mess that we all find ourselves in is important. But so is giving yourself a break. So take a minute and have a dance party. In your living room. In your bathroom. Wherever.

Someone around here's got a tag line that says "there's shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them."

It's true. Give it a shot.

And no excuses...I have a torn calf muscle. No one has to see you act a fool. Unless you like that!!

Oh, such an apropos post right now, because I was a huuuuge dork a few minutes ago and danced along to the YouTube video of possibly my favorite live performance ever, "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel on Letterman. Yessir I did, right in my living room. And it was fun!

Married -> I cheated -> We divorced -> We remarried -> Had two kids -> Now we’re miserable again

Oh that's awesome HB!

I'm dancing like a dork right there with you. I decided to just keep dancing. So I'm hosting my own SI dance party.

I can't go workout with my leg right now so at least this is cardio, right??

Swims - I'm right there with you!! My 35th birthday, too many bottles of wine and dancing queen. Good times! I'll bust that song out later just for you!

Nature Girl - you actually made me bust out laughing. Alright girl - you brought it. And I will dance to every. Single. One. :-)

Now to see what treasures you've left!!
