I went in for a minor surgery on my foot last week. They wanted a urine sample from me to make sure I wasn't pregnant. For the life of me, I could not squeeze out one drop.

I promised the nurse there is no possible way I was pregnant and I would sign a waiver.

If somehow I was pregnant, I told her be prepared, the second coming of Christ is coming or the spawn of the devil. Immaculate conception kind of thing.

She chuckled.

Well, kind of an advantage (weak smile)

Can I add to that...

I get up in the middle of the night and no matter how tired I am - I'm safe...the toilet seat is still down.

So true!!

I no longer have to have a pelvic exam every year. No sex partners seems to have bumped me into the every 2-3 years category. Yay me! Uh.... I think

I'm just glad I don't have to wear condoms! (I suppose that would be a pretty silly thing to wear while on the bus, though.)

Just got on the bus again 2 weeks ago and already enjoying not to have to start another pill package this weekend. And not to mention skipping the grooming and the shaving...liberating...

A friend who's been on the bus five years had to have an internal (vaginal)ultrasound recently. She told the tech she is a "born-again virgin" and begged her to "be gentle".
