I just want to know if I am the only one who is drastically affected emotionally by the weather outside . The clouds and rain bring deep depression for me since D day. I know it is somewhat normal to be depressed on these days but for me the triggers are intensified by 10 on these days. Does this happen to other? Is it normal? Thanks.

I think it's perfectly normal, Thefly. ((((hugs))))

Thefly,
Weather can have a major effect on mood without being under stress, so dealing with that and the emotional pain you must be feeling just makes it even worse. I'm currently in the DelMarVa region and we've been having yucky weather for days; I know it's been making me extra mopey...

I have SAD so crappy weather always affects me but this year it has been so much worse. It really makes me wonder what a basket case I would have been if dday had happened in the winter instead of the beginning of summer. I honestly don't know if I would be here.
Vitamin D helps. I take mega doses and try to exercise and get out in any patch of sun that appears. But it is all I can do to keep from hiding under the covers until spring.
